DJ Snoop (auch bekannt als Prototype), der mit bürgerlichem Namen Mario Bühner heißt, wurde am 12.07.1985 in Emmerich am Rhein geboren. Im Jahre 2000 entdeckte er sein Interesse am produzieren von eigenen Liedern der elektronischen Musik und das Auflegen.
Mario arbeitet mit 2 verschiedenen Künstlernamen, welche sich in den Musikstyles kennzeichnen:
DJ Snoop:
House, Electro, Minimal, Trance, Goa
Prototype:
Hardstyle, Hardcore, Hard-Techno
Der erste Erfolg gelang DJ Snoop bei der Nachwuchskünstler Chartshow „Uptraxx“ auf Radio Sunshine Live mit der Single „Doves in the sky“, welche direkt von 0 auf Platz 16 eingestiegen ist. Zudem produzierte er schon verschiedene Remixe, u.a. für die aus den vereinigten Staaten stammende Nycole Valentina („Sick of you“), welcher von 0 auf Platz 20 eingestiegen ist. Die jüngste, erfolgreichste Single von DJ Snoop ist „Skydive“ welche es sogar international in eine New Yorker Radioshow geschafft hat.
Aufgelegt hat DJ Snoop (Prototype) schon auf diversen Privatpartys und in Diskotheken, dazu zählen u.a.:
