Junior was born in Accra, Ghana in September 1986. At the Age of 10, Junior’s father sent him to his mother in Germany in order to enable him a better education and a better future.
Not knowing the German language and not having as much friends at the beginning, Junior spent a lot of time studying the songs and videos of his idol Michael Jackson. In fact, the King of Pop had an enormous influence on Junior and his development as an artist.
Later Artists like R. Kelly, Usher, Ginuwine, Dru Hill, Boys II Men, Tyrese and many more inspired him to create his own unique style. Junior did not just learn to sing, but also developed an individual dancing style.
Even though many people wanted to work with him, Junior soon realized that it’s not easy finding the right people to have around you in this business.
At the age of 17 Junior signed his first deal with a producer who already produced for Kci &Jojo, Ice T and Hathaway. Unfortunately this cooperation didn’t work out the way Junior hoped it would. Eventually, Junior quit working with his first producer due to essential differences.
This was a huge fall-back for Junior, but his passion and love for music kept him going and also gave him the strength to keep on going his way and stay true to himself. Step by step Junior built up a network of producers, video directors, dancers and actors he is now working with.
In the year 2012 Junior won a newcomer show which was held by one of biggest radio stations in Germany “Big FM”. He was then able to open the show for stars like Nena, Marlon Roudette, Culcha Candela and Mic Donet at the Mainz Open Air.
Junior also opened up the show for Richard Bona, and the Grammy Award winning Robert Glasper at the Jazz Open (Stuttgart) in July 2013. Having created a small fan base and a good team around him, Junior is now ready build up a career!!!
