Es gibt zwei Leadgitarren, wobei sich die beiden Gitarristen neben dem Spielen von einfachen aber wirkungsvollen, rockig, rollenden Powerriffs a la AC/DC mit fetten Solos batteln. Trotz der Gitarrenwand setzt der Bass mit seinem dreckigen aber druckvollen Sound ryhtmische Akzente, dass es Lemmy die Warze juckt. Abwechslungsreiche und treibende Drums bringen modernen Drive in den Retro Sound. Die raue Stimme verkörpert ausdrucksstark die emotionale Seite des Rock’n’Roll, was zeitweise auch den Übergang zum Geschei unverzichtbar macht. Da die Einflüsse sehr verschieden sind beschreitet der Stil von RiffRaff whatever neue Wege, kann aber am ehesten mit skandinavischen Rockbands unserer Zeit verglichen werden.
Die Gründungsväter Dan Theman und Carl Creepy, welche RiffRaff whatever 2003 ins Leben riefen, rocken bereits seit 1996 zusammen. Auch die anderen Mitglieder spielten schon lange davor erfolgreich in Bands. Mitte 2005 unterschrieb RiffRaff whatever bei der Agentur mta – 'move to advice’ um das Booking in professionelle Hände zu geben.
Auch diverse Fanzines (z.B. Plastic Bomb), Internet Plattformen, lokale Radio – und Fernsehsender, sowie

Süddeutsche Zeitung fanden das Quintett sehr hörens- und sehenswert.
Mit dem Debutalbum „no fun to have a band“ (2003), sowie der Promo CD „money blocks the view“ (2004) haben RiffRaff whatever bereits einigen Stoff für CD Beilagen

There are two lead guitars, which play simple but effective, rockin‘ rollin‘ powerriffs like AC/DC, and battle themselfs with big solos. But for all that guitar wall, the bass can enforce its rhythmic with its dirty but powerfull sound that Lemmy gets a itchy wart. Diversified and pushing drums bring modern drive into the retro sound. The raucous voice personifies the emotional side of the rock‘n‘roll, what makes screaming sometimes essential.
Cause the influences are very different, RiffRaffs whatver musical style goes new ways, but can be compared best with Skandinavian rockbands of our time.
Dan Theman and Carl Creepy founded RiffRaff whatever in 2003, they have been playing together in other bands since 1996. Also the other members played already a long and succesfull time in other bands. After a short time RiffRaff whatever played not just shows in the bavarian homeland, but also outside of the state and country borders.
With its excessive live shows RiffRaff whatever convinced always the crowed and gave their fans a wanted rock‘n‘roll asskick.
Soon the people talked about that the boys from RiffRaff whatever go beyond their limits everytime on stage. Not only with their music they anderstand to entertain.
In Munich RiffRaff played already in the hottest clubs as support of famous, international bands. RiffRaff whatever signed in the middle of 2005 a contract with the booking agency mta - 'move to advice‘ to give the booking in proffesional hands.
Also different fanzies, internet sites, local radio and tv-stations, as well as the big German newspaper 'Süddeutsche Zeitung‘ showed their interest in this upcoming band and reported about it. RiffRaff whatever could win already different band contests and internet polls as best newcomer live act. With songs from their first album 'no fun to have a band‘ (2003) and their promo CD 'money blocks the view‘ (2004) was RiffRaff already represented on different CD sampler (e.g. 'Konfisziert III‘).
